LouisianaTall tale

The river changed its mind on the afternoon crossing.

I handed a stranger the end of a rope and told him to hold on.

He is still holding on. I say hello to him on Thursdays.

Kept Between Us

What is said on a porch stays on the porch. This page says what we keep, why, and how you can take it back.

What we keep

  • What you gave at sign-up (email, hashed password, given name, birth date, gender) and anything entered on your chair page.
  • Your chats, and the notes each woman holds so she can remember you.
  • A session cookie, plus a second marking that you came through the grown-folks gate.
  • Payment traces: how much was sent and its transfer reference. We never take cards.
  • Ordinary server logs, held briefly to keep out trouble.

What it is for

To run the chat, uphold the manners and keep the lights burning. An AI model handles your messages, either one we run or one at a provider bound by the same limits, and an automated screen reads them for safety. Chats are never for sale, and no advertiser gets a look.

Counting visitors

A plain analytics counter notes how many people dropped by and which countries they came from. It has no way to read a chat.

Taking it back

Each chat's menu lets you edit what she keeps on you, save a copy of the evening or wipe it. To delete the entire account with all it holds, write to the porch from the registered address. Should your own law give you more than this, say so and it will be honored.
